Q. How do I contact you to discontinue my electricity service?<\/h4>\n

\nPlease call us or visit our website to stop using the service.
\nIn principle, we request that the policyholder himself\/herself make the request for the procedure. (This does not apply under special circumstances.)\n<\/p>\n\n

Q. What do I need to do to discontinue my account?<\/h4>\n

\nDate you wish to stop using the service
\nContact telephone number after suspension of use
\nFinal billing address (e.g., new address)
\nIf you also have a gas contract, we will also ask you when you wish to shut off the gas and how you would like to be present.\n<\/p>\n\n

Q. When will the suspension date be?<\/h4>\n

\nAs a general rule, this will be the date of cancellation of the room lease contract or the date of transfer of ownership.
\nHowever, if it is clear that you will not be using electricity at all prior to the date of termination of the lease contract or transfer of ownership due to moving, etc., we may accept to terminate your service on the date of your choice.
\nIf you do not notify us in advance of the date of suspension, we may suspend your use of the service on the date you notify us.\n<\/p>\n\n

Q. What should I do with the value of my electric meter when I stop using your service?<\/h4>\n

\nPlease check your electricity meter when you leave your place of use on the day you stop using electricity in order to isolate the amount of electricity used.
\nPlease contact our support center with the meter values you have confirmed. Please call us within 2-3 business days from the date of suspension, or use the link in the SMS we will send you later.
\nIf we do not receive a meter reading, we will calculate your usage based on the meter reading that we confirm at a later date or on a pro-rated basis. In this case, please understand that the usage of the next tenant may be included in the calculation.
\nIf it is unavoidably difficult to check the meter (e.g., you have already moved, or you cannot physically see the meter), we will calculate your usage up to the meter value at the time of our next meter reading.\n<\/p>\n\n

Q. Do I need to operate the breaker when I disconnect?<\/h4>\n

\nWe usually ask that you turn off the breaker on the distribution board in your home when you leave the place of use on the last day of your stay.
\nHowever, in some condominiums, operating the breaker may trigger the alarm. If this is the case, please contact our support center.\n<\/p>\n\n

Q. What is the payment policy for charges after suspension of service?<\/h4>\n

\nThe final usage will be calculated on a pro-rata basis up to the day of cessation of use.
\nThe final bill will be sent to the mailing address you specified at the time of registration.
\nThe obligation to pay fees will continue even after the subscription agreement expires.\n<\/p>\n\n

Q. Can I shut off the gas at the same time?<\/h4>\n

\nYes, we can also close your gas contract along with your electricity service.
\nAs a rule, we ask our customers to be present when the gas is shut off.
\nThe method of gas supply and the days when it can be accepted differ depending on the location (area) of use.
\nIf you have a contract with Kansai area (Kanden Gas): The desired date of shutdown is 2 days after the date of contact (Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays are also acceptable).
\nIf you have a contract in the Kanto area (Resil's gas): The desired date of shut-off is the day after the day of contact (Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays are acceptable).
\nIf we are unable to accommodate your request on the requested date, we may ask you to contact the gas company directly.\n<\/p>\n\n
