As a general rule, this will be the date of cancellation of the room lease contract or the date of transfer of ownership.

If we do not receive a meter reading, we will calculate your usage based on the meter reading that we confirm at a later date or on a pro-rated basis. In this case, please understand that the usage of the next tenant may be included in the calculation.
If it is unavoidably difficult to check the meter (e.g., you have already moved, or you cannot physically see the meter), we will calculate your usage up to the meter value at the time of our next meter reading.
We usually ask that you turn off the breaker on the distribution board in your home when you leave the place of use on the last day of your stay.
However, in some condominiums, operating the breaker may trigger the alarm. If this is the case, please contact our support center.
The final usage will be calculated on a pro-rata basis up to the day of cessation of use.

The method of gas supply and the days when it can be accepted differ depending on the location (area) of use.
If you have a contract with Kansai area (Kanden Gas): The desired date of shutdown is 2 days after the date of contact (Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays are also acceptable).
If you have a contract in the Kanto area (Resil's gas): The desired date of shut-off is the day after the day of contact (Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays are acceptable).
If we are unable to accommodate your request on the requested date, we may ask you to contact the gas company directly.
