We would like to inform you of the following changes to our electricity supply and demand agreement (low-voltage) tariffs, effective May 1, 2024, which will be applied starting with electricity rates for June 2024.

1. Details of change
MISUMI will reflect in the rate unit price the amount equivalent to the revision of the consignment charges of general transmission and distribution companies (*3) due to the introduction of the generation-side billing system (*1) and the revenue cap system (*2). Please refer to the revised tariff for the revised unit prices.
There are no procedures to be taken by customers in accordance with the changes to these terms and conditions.

3. Other
1 The generation-side billing system is a system that requires power generators, who are users of the power grid, to pay a portion of the toll charges from the perspective of efficiently and reliably maintaining and expanding power transmission and distribution facilities for the efficient use of the power grid and the expansion of renewable energy introduction, etc.

2 The revenue cap system is a system under which general transmission and distribution companies receive approval for a revenue cap for a certain period of time, with the aim of both securing the necessary investment in the transmission and distribution business and reducing the burden on the public, thereby making renewable energy the main source of power and strengthening resilience.

3 General transmission and distribution companies are companies that manage transmission and distribution networks such as transmission lines and distribution lines in each region, such as Tokyo Electric Power Grid Co.
