(Head Office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President: Yusuke Murata) have announced that they have signed an agreement with the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry'sEmergency Assistance to Survive the Severe HeatIn conjunction with the implementation of the "Electricity and Gas Service Agreement", discounts will be applied to customers' electricity and gas bills for use from August to October 2024.

　Under this project, the government provides financial support to businesses that offer discounts at unit prices designated by the government from electricity and gas rates based on customer usage. Customers are not required to take any procedures or contact us regarding discounts under this project.

(*) Electricity used in August will be billed as September, electricity used in September will be billed as October, and electricity used in October will be billed as November.

Customers with special high-voltage electricity contracts are not eligible for the "Emergency Assistance for Overcoming Severe Summer Heat".
Discounts will be applied and the amount of the discount will be shown on your bill for the applicable month.
The months for which discounts are applied may differ depending on the plan you are subscribed to.

Discount method
The applicable unit price will be discounted from the unit price for fuel cost adjustment and the unit price for feedstock cost adjustment to calculate the charges. However, customers with JEPX-linked plans to which the fuel cost adjustment system does not apply will receive a discount based on the amount of usage from the billed amount.

Example of discount
In the case of a low-voltage electricity customer whose electricity consumption in August 2024 is 500 kWh.
　500kWh × 4 yen/kWh → Discount: 2,000 yen/month

In the case of a customer who is under a high-voltage electricity contract and whose electricity consumption in August 2024 is 40,000 kWh.
　40,000kWh × 2 yen/kWh → Discount: 80,000 yen/month
