Regil joins the Japan Climate Leaders Partnership (JCLP)

We are pleased to announce that we have joined the Japan Climate Leaders Partnership ("JCLP"), a group of companies committed to the realization of a sustainable, decarbonized society, as a supporting member.

Based on the corporate mission of "Continuously defying social challenges as a point of unity," we are working to solve social issues that transcend the boundaries of companies, industries, and countries by mobilizing the individual strengths of a diverse range of human resources. In recent years, we have been working to create an optimal energy management system, which is indispensable for the realization of a decarbonized society, as well as an organizational and governance structure that will enable us to operate our business in this way.

Beyond these efforts in our core business, our goal is to implement new options for decarbonization in society without the psychological and financial burden. In order to realize this goal, it is necessary for us to gain the support of a larger number of stakeholders who share our stance and work together with us toward social implementation. We have decided to join the JCLP because these ideas are in line with the policy of the JCLP, which aims to be "a corporate group that demonstrates leadership in achieving the 1.5°C target through collaboration with stakeholders.

Through this affiliation, we aim to further contribute to the development of a sustainable society by demonstrating to society our will and actions to realize a decarbonized society through our core business, and by promoting the decarbonization of our own company.

◾️ About Japan Climate Leaders Partnership (JCLP)
It was established in 2009 as a unique Japanese business group based on the recognition that industry must have a healthy sense of urgency and initiate proactive actions to realize a decarbonized society. As of May 2025, 229 companies from a wide range of industries, including some of Japan's leading companies, are members, with total sales of approximately 138 trillion yen and total electricity consumption of approximately 75 TWh (reference and approximate figures including overseas companies). Toward the realization of a decarbonized society, we are promoting collaboration with local governments and overseas organizations, such as by concluding a comprehensive partnership agreement with the City of Yokohama and serving as a local partner of The Climate Group (*1), an international non-profit organization, as a dissemination contact for RE100 (*2), EV100 (*3) and EP100 (*4).
