News Release
We are pleased to announce that our "Condominium Disaster Prevention Service" has been adopted by NTT Urban Development Corporation (headquartered in Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; Yasushi Ikeda, President & CEO; hereinafter "NTT Urban Development") for a new rental project. This is the first time NTT Urban Development has adopted this service.
The new building is "Wellith Urban Magome (tentative name)," currently under development in Ota-ku, Tokyo. Starting with the introduction of this system, NTT Urban Development plans to study the possibility of expanding the system to the "Wellith" series, NTT Urban Development's brand of housing.

Background of Initiatives
Under the government policy to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050, the residential sector is also required to work toward decarbonization, and the use of highly insulated and energy-efficient housing is being promoted. In addition, as disasters become more severe, local governments are encouraging "home evacuation," and there is a growing need for homes that can maintain a certain level of functionality in the event of an emergency.
Against this backdrop, NTT Urban Development is developing a new concept, "Sustainable & Resilient Life" (*), with the aim of realizing a lifestyle that combines sustainability and resilience, while also taking a multifaceted approach to disaster prevention.
On the other hand, we have been working to realize a living environment that combines decarbonization and resilience by providing a "condominium disaster prevention service" that combines a solar power generation system and storage batteries with our bulk power receiving service for condominiums.
By combining NTT Urban Development's expertise in condominium development and disaster prevention design with our technology and operational know-how, we will be able to provide both hardware and software to ensure comfort and economy during normal times and safety during emergencies. NTT Urban Development has decided to use this service because it will support the company's goal of creating homes that are both sustainable and resilient.
Trademark registration pending at NTT Urban Development.
