About CDP's Supplier Engagement Assessment
CDP is an international non-profit organization that promotes information disclosure in environmental areas such as climate change, water resources, and forest conservation. CDP requires companies and local governments around the world to disclose environmental information, and evaluates and scores their content.
Among them, the Supplier Engagement Assessment (SEA) evaluates companies that responded to CDP's Climate Change Questionnaire on their efforts to address climate change throughout their supply chain in terms of "governance," "goal setting," "understanding and managing Scope 3 emissions," and "engagement with suppliers. The CDP is designed to evaluate companies' efforts to address climate change throughout their supply chains from the perspectives of governance, target setting, understanding and managing Scope 3 emissions, and supplier engagement.
The fact that we received the highest "A Score" rating for the second year in a row is a recognition of our ongoing decarbonization efforts throughout the value chain and our highly transparent information disclosure.

Our Response to Climate Change
We are promoting business activities to realize a decentralized energy society with the mission of "Making decarbonization less of an intractable problem." as our mission, we are promoting business activities to realize a decentralized energy society. We have positioned addressing climate change as one of our key management issues and are continuously working to reduce GHG emissions throughout the value chain and enhance information disclosure.
In particular, given that Scope 3 accounts for a large portion of GHG emissions in our business structure, we are promoting the efficiency of energy use and the development and provision of decarbonization solutions while emphasizing collaboration with various stakeholders, including suppliers.
In addition to enhancing information disclosure based on TCFD recommendations, we are also working toward the realization of a sustainable society through participation in the GX Future Consortium, which aims to promote GX through public-private partnerships, and in the Japan Climate Leaders Partnership (JCLP), which aims to realize a decarbonized society through business-to-business collaboration. We are also working to realize a sustainable society through activities in the Japan Climate Leaders Partnership (JCLP), which aims to realize a decarbonized society through corporate collaboration.
Going forward, we will continue to accelerate our efforts to realize a decarbonized society and aim to balance business growth with solutions to social issues.
