News Release

Resil and JA Oigawa collaborated to hold a condominium marché - Over 120 households attended the event, helping to create a new point of contact between residents and the city and the region.

We held the "Mansion Marche (direct sales event)" in cooperation with JA Oigawa (Shizuoka Prefecture) at properties where our "Mansion Bulk Power Supply Service" is installed.
This year's event was held at "Tamagawa Park Square" in Ota-ku, Tokyo and "Anju no Oka Yokohama Tokiwadai" in Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture, and attracted more than 120 households on both days.
This initiative was implemented as a way to foster community among residents and build ties between the region and the city by delivering locally produced agricultural products to the city, as part of a new type of collaboration in which both parties support each other.

Background and purpose of the implementation of the Apartment Marche
Under our Purpose, "As a cohesive point, we will continue to resist social challenges," we are promoting the provision of value beyond conventional electric power services in order to realize a sustainable society.
The local agricultural sector is facing a variety of structural challenges, such as an aging working population and lack of bearers, as well as the increasing burden of securing new distribution channels and sales channels in response to diversifying consumer needs. This initiative is designed to address these issues by creating new points of contact between the region and the city, thereby contributing to improving the sustainability of regional agriculture.
In addition to supplying locally generated renewable energy to condominiums and corporate customers in urban areas, we have also been working to create a mechanism for local production and local consumption of electricity in the region. In addition to the physical distribution of agricultural products, this initiative aims to create contact points and opportunities for dialogue between local producers and urban residents, thereby building a relationship in which both goods and ideas are exchanged, and realizing a system in which the region and the city can sustainably support each other.
JA Oigawa, which is collaborating in this project, is working to expand sales channels for local agricultural products, promote sustainable agricultural management, and communicate the appeal of the region through SNS and websites, with a focus on agricultural promotion and regional revitalization. This collaboration was realized because the direction of these activities matches the purpose of this project.

■On the day of the event
On the day of the event, vegetables, rice, tea, and other products sold at "Mansaikan," a direct sales outlet in Shizuoka Prefecture operated by JA Oigaigaoka, were sold on the spot. The event was a great success, with many residents visiting the store right from the start, and some items sold out within 30 minutes.
Participants also commented that they enjoyed the vegetables they purchased so much that they ordered them again online that same day, a response that led to purchasing behavior triggered by the event.
A "Children's Marche" was also held on the day of the event, allowing children to experience the sales side of the business, and we saw many parents and children participating. Four children participated at Tamagawa Park Square, where they enjoyed talking with residents through offering tea tastings and handing over money. The event provided an opportunity for natural communication with local residents, and was an initiative that also had new value as a place for exchange.

We will continue to promote initiatives that contribute to the realization of affluent lifestyles for residents and harmonious coexistence between the region and the city through two-way cooperation that links the region and the city, and by fostering community within condominiums.
