(Head Office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President: Yasuzumi Tanji), celebrating its 30th anniversary next year, will change its company name to Rezil Inc. on September 1, 2023, as the beginning of its second incarnation from an electric power company to a climate tech company. Reason for the name change
As we celebrate our 30th anniversary next year, we decided to remodel our company and revamped our management structure in 2021. Over the next two years, we implemented internal DX, business model reform, changes in the way we work, AI-based system development, alliances, and other measures to transform ourselves from an electric power company into a climate tech company, ready for renewed growth in the next 30 years.
Therefore, we have changed our company name to Regil effective September 1, 2023 as the beginning of our second foundation.

Origin of the company name
Our company's mission is to "continue to resist social challenges as a point of unity". We are changing our company name to Resil Corporation to express our desire to be a company that resists (Resistance) and recovers (Resilience) from social issues.

■Future Business Development
We started by supplying electricity to condominiums in a bulk power receiving system before the deregulation of electric power, and now we are leveraging our foundation and know-how in the distributed energy management business, DX support business for energy companies, and green energy matching business to contribute to society in the next 30 years with the vision of "Making decarbonization less of an intractable problem. Under the vision of "Making decarbonization an intractable problem," we will contribute to society in the era of global boiling by building a decentralized energy ecosystem with these three businesses as pillars.

Comments from Hozumi Tanji, President and Representative Director
To be honest, I had my doubts about changing the name of our company, which has been in existence for 30 years. I was encouraged by the founder, Seiji Nakamura, who said, "Management is not in the past; we should deny the past and move forward as fast as we can," and decided to change the company name as a means of realizing "unconscious decarbonization.
We would like to take on the challenge of solving social issues by creating a system that enables people to contribute to decarbonization without hassle, simply by using our convenient and reliable services.
And as we look toward the next 30 years, I promise all of our stakeholders that we will continue to make everyone involved in our business happy with the spirit of "yappo yoshi" while weaving our DNA to continue to take on challenges.

Completed graduate studies, Department of Management Engineering, Graduate School of Science and Technology, Tokyo University of Science, and received an honorable mention paper award at the VE National Convention while still a student.
Joined Hewlett-Packard Japan in 1997
Joined Rakuten, Inc. in 2001 and served as EC Consultant, Director of Rakuten University Division, and Director of a subsidiary company.
With a thirst for management strategy, he joined MISUMI Group Inc. in 2010, led by the respected Tadashi Saegusa, and was given the responsibility of managing the subsidiary Signi Co. He turned the company, which had been in the red for 10 years, into a profitable one and grew it into one of the top companies in the industry. He then gained experience in turnarounds as a board member of several companies.
Joined Resil Corporation in December 2020 as Executive Officer, appointed Director and Executive Officer in April 2021 and President and Representative Director in December 2021
